"The Common Ground" is a tabloid newspaper published in San Francisco that is usually found in supermarket checkout lines and gutters. No story is too salacious and no occurrence too mysterious to restrain the writers and editors from embroidering the truth. While the publication denies all allegations of fabrication and libel, several lawsuits have been settled out of court under strict non-disclosure agreements. Many independent writers and photographers have had their material published in the pages of "The Common Ground", including Moira Roarke.
